Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to join the CAMHS team in Oxfordshire. This full-time role provides recovery-focused care to children and young people in mental health crisis, with community-based work across Oxfordshire and a seven-day rota.

You will assess needs and risks, coordinate evidence-based interventions, manage a caseload and work closely with families, schools and partner agencies. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse, Children's Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with mental health and community experience.
• Ability to assess and manage risk, maintain clear records and contribute to multidisciplinary working.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and risks of children and young people in CAMHS.
• Coordinate evidence-based interventions and manage a caseload.
• Collaborate with families, carers, schools and partner agencies; contribute to safeguarding and service development.
