Job summary

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Full-Time CAMHS Consultant in Eating Disorders to lead clinical care for children and young people. Based at Rivermead in Belper, the role offers hybrid working and a supportive MDT environment.

The post requires GMC Specialist Register entry or imminent eligibility, MB BS and MRCPsych, and provides strategic service development within CAMHS ED, with opportunities for LTFT/job-share arrangements.

Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of application.
• Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register for the speciality, or eligible for entry within six months of the interview date (including those applying via the portfolio pathway route)
• MRCPsych or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver a quality clinical service through direct work with patients, consultation, and liaison with CAMHS ED MDT, paediatric team on Puffin ward, GPs.
• Provide medical and clinical leadership within the CAMHS service.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team initiatives and service development.
