North West Sussex CAMHS Service has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join their locality team.
This role offers a chance to be a key player in delivering a safe, effective, and caring service for children and young people aged 0-18. Psychiatrists are vital in driving change and shaping service development. The Trust aims to continually improve for the benefit of patients and welcomes diverse clinical and non-clinical perspectives to achieve this.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, psychologists, systemic family therapists, and child psychotherapists. The post collaborates with other Consultants and Specialty Doctors within Sussex CAMHS and connects with a Trust-wide Consultant network for peer support and development.
As a teaching Trust with strong ties to Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), we host trainees at all levels, including F2, GP, core, and higher trainees, and provide training for medical and Physician Associate students from BSMS.
The service aligns with NICE evidence-based guidelines. You will conduct high-quality clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, working collaboratively to develop tailored treatment plans.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
