Are you a registered professional? The West Core CAMHS Team are looking for an enthusiastic Community Practitioner to join their supportive team.
As a CAMHS Community Practitioner, you will deliver a variety of care and intensive evidence-based treatment interventions, on a one-to-one, family and group basis to promote recovery, appropriate in partnership with children, young people and families/carers. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and partner agencies providing a high quality of care ensuring high standards of clinical practice are met.

We'll make sure that you gain the right expertise through our Clinical Competency Framework, we'll guide and support you, offer appropriate further training with excellent clinical supervision and line management support.
This post is 12 month fixed term Maternity Cover
This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.

Main duties of the job
You will hold a clinical caseload including the CCO role, offer evidenced based interventions in line with our care pathways and take part in our duty rota.
You will make judgements about appropriate models of treatment, often involving highly complex issues and situations and thus requiring analysis, comparison and interpretation of a range of options.
You will undertake mental health assessments in a variety of settings including home, clinic, schools and acute settings and ensure appropriate treatment plans are initiated.
