Summary: Fixed Term - 12 months contract to cover maternity leave. We are recruiting a qualified practitioner for the Stockton CAMHs Getting More Help Team. The successful candidate will be motivated, forward-thinking, and a valued team member working with young people and their families facing mental health challenges.
We prioritize high-quality, patient-centered care and effective team collaboration. The candidate should be flexible, communicative, and interpersonal skills are essential to meet the needs of patients, families, and partners. You will collaborate closely with MDT members and support colleagues.
Applicants must have at least 18 months post-qualifying experience, including preceptorship or competency framework sign-off. Prior agreement from your current line manager for secondment is required. If funded permanently, the role will become permanent.
The multidisciplinary team offers assessments, treatments, and interventions for young people with complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues. Ideally, candidates will be trained in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, or SFP, or be trained as a Non Medical Prescriber (NMP). Experience with children and young people with mental health and neurodevelopmental needs is essential. The team is willing to support staff development and additional training.
