Job Title: Nurse Specialist CAMHS
Hours: 26 hours per week
Type: Fixed-term (6 months), Band 6

Applications are invited for the above permanent, part-time position in our West Lothian Out-Patient Team based at St. John’s Hospital, Livingston.
This role is ideal for a dynamic, forward-thinking registered mental health or learning disability nurse interested in contributing to the vision of “Getting it right for every child” and young person with mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders. Opportunities exist to develop skills in assessing and treating various mental health presentations, including eating disorders, mood, psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. There are excellent prospects for career advancement through our nursing clinical pathways.
New CAMHS staff will have the opportunity to undertake the NES “New to CAMHS” training over 12 months. NHS Lothian CAMHS has its own training budget and regularly organizes internal and external training events for clinicians.
This position requires the candidate to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting.
