Job Role:
CAMHS Care CoordinatorWorking Hours: 37.5 hours (1 WTE)
Responsibilities: This role is suitable for a nurse, social worker or a therapist with caseload management experience. You must be confident in carrying out mental state examinations during assessments. You will provide support for young persons and their families, supervise junior staff, and work collaboratively with the MDT. You should be a team player.
Skills: The candidate should be a nurse registered with a professional body such as NMC. Clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties is essential. Experience in delivering mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management is required. CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of CBT and DBT is a plus but not mandatory.
