Job Description:

Job Role: CAMHS Care Coordinator

Working Hours: 37.5 hours (1 WTE)

Responsibilities: This role is suitable for a nurse, social worker, or therapist with caseload management experience. You must be confident in carrying out mental state examinations during assessments. Provide support for young persons and their families. Ability to supervise junior staff. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (MDT). Must be a team player.

Skills: The post holder should be a nurse registered with a professional or regulatory body such as NMC. Clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. Significant experience in delivering mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management. Substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience. CBT and DBT experience are desirable but not necessary.
