Job description

Responsibilities:

This role is suitable for nurses, social workers, or therapists with caseload management experience. You must be confident in conducting mental state examinations during assessments. Providing support to young persons and their families, supervising junior staff, and working with MDT are essential. Experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties is required. Experience in mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management is necessary. CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience is highly desirable. CBT and DBT experience are a plus but not mandatory.

Skills and Requirements:
  • Registered with the NMC
  • Clinical experience with children and young people with mental health issues
  • Experience in mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management
  • Minimum of 6 months UK experience within an NHS Trust or Care Home
  • Up-to-date PMVA/Breakaway/MAPA training
  • Ability to provide UK references, immunisation reports, and a valid NMC pin
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
