About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Camera Prep Technician, this would be a fantastic opportunity for individuals with an interest in Film & TV, who would like to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands-on, highly operational, service-focused business.

Come and join the busy team at Sunbelt Rentals who provide camera support equipment to Film and TV productions, from camera cranes, remote heads, positioning vehicles and grip accessories. The Camera Prep Technician will support operational activities helping deliver the promise of high standards in our equipment and services.

Key Duties
  • Supporting the team in prepping and repairing the equipment to a high standard.
  • Using software to ensure all equipment is prepped, checked in and out of the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading equipment into vans and trucks.
  • Carry out deliveries and collections to set call times for productions. Time planning is essential for this due to any delays which could occur.
  • Carry out vehicle cleaning duties when required to ensure trucks and vans to be kept clean inside and outside when required.
  • Preparation of any pre-hire documentation such as delivery notes or competence checklists.
  • Ensuring our inventory is ready for rent, sometimes within a short turnaround time.
  • Initial inspection of returned equipment for missing or damaged items.
  • Carrying out duties outside of normal contracted hours when required at short notice.
  • Follow all health, safety and environment guidelines.

  • Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A safety-first approach is required. A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Eager to understand our growing product range outside and inside of our division.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
  • HGV Licence.
