Job summary

Hexwired Recruitment Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team. You will work on cutting-edge AI/ML projects from concept through deployment, designing, training and evaluating models across diverse applications.

Ideal candidates have a strong STEM degree and hands-on ML experience with Python and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX. The role offers a competitive £60k-£120k salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related STEM field.
• Commercial or research experience in Machine Learning.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative AI/ML solutions for challenging technical problems.
• Design, train and evaluate machine learning models across a variety of applications.
• Rapidly prototype, test and optimise new ideas.
• Analyse research papers and apply the latest ML techniques.
