Executive Talent Solutions is supporting a rapidly growing technology business in recruiting an assistant management accountant to back the Head of Finance. The role sits at their Cambridge site and involves day‑to‑day financial operations across accounts payable, bank reconciliations (UK and international), payroll, and the production of management accounts.

The role offers exposure to developing systems and processes with real opportunities to grow finance skills as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience of accounts payable.
• Experience of bank reconciliations.
• Experience working with accounting systems.
• Experience working with Excel and financial data.
• Experience of working to deadlines and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function.
• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete regular bank reconciliations for UK and international accounts.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments as required.
• Assist with year-end accounting and audit requirements.
