Client Server is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to work on a new Greenfield product in the R&D team. The role focuses on Python backend development with occasional Rust, TypeScript, or C++ work in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.

The position offers a Cambridge hybrid setup, joining the team twice weekly in the office, with competitive pay up to £65k and a comprehensive benefits package including pensions, private medical, and generous training budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn and pick up new technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Some experience with Rust, TypeScript and/or C++.
• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Degree educated in a STEM discipline.

Responsibilities
