Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer for our weekend shift at our Silverstone site. You will create, modify and validate CNC programs for 5-axis milling, working closely with machinists and engineers to deliver components to the highest standards.

This hands-on role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Weekend hours from Friday 7am to Sunday 7:30pm apply.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC machines for 5-axis milling.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications.
• Weekend shift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimise CNC programs for complex components, primarily for 5-axis milling machines.
• Support weekend machining operations by troubleshooting and resolving programming issues.
• Perform toolpath verification and simulation to ensure safe, efficient machining.
• Collaborate with machinists to refine programs and improve cycle times and surface finishes.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications accurately.
• Ensure all programs and setup documentation are correctly recorded and maintained.
• Adhere to established programming standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide feedback to weekday programming and engineering teams to improve manufacturability and process efficiency.

Please Note: This is a Weekend Shift position working 3 days x 12 hours Friday – Sunday from 7am – 7:30pm.
