Oadby Plastics is seeking a CAM/CAD Technician to join our technical team in Leicester. This permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and focuses on producing precise CAD drawings and CNC programs to exact specifications, supporting machinists and driving production efficiency.
You will create SolidWorks drawings, develop Alphacam CNC programs, and collaborate with sales, technical, and production teams to meet project requirements.

Working as part of the technical team, the CAD/CAM Technician plays a key role in producing technical drawings to exact specifications. You’ll be responsible for estimating, programming, and supporting CNC machinists to meet technical and quality standards. In this role, you’ll help to keep production running and support our wider goals across the business.
