Job summary

Disability North is seeking a kind, reliable Personal Assistant to support Jameel on weekends and school holidays. Your role will include accompanying him on community activities and helping him stay active and safe.

You will communicate clearly, be patient, and adapt to Jameel’s preferred ways of interacting. A UK work permit is required at start.

Experience with autistic young people is desirable, but a genuine willingness to learn is just as important.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying Jameel on trips to the park or community activities.

• Communicating clearly and calmly, and responding to needs with empathy.
• Providing reassurance and structure to help him enjoy outings safely.
