Job summary

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Reset Room Supervisor to work in a supportive secondary school in the Burnley area. This ongoing role starts ASAP, working Monday to Thursday, with a pay rate of £16.66 per hour.

The successful candidate will supervise the Reset Room, helping pupils regulate behaviour and prepare to return to lessons. The role requires calm, patient support, de-escalation skills and strong collaboration with school teams to reinforce

Qualifications

• Experience of working with secondary-age pupils, ideally in behaviour/pastoral roles.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check and safeguarding checks.
• Able to de-escalate and maintain clear boundaries with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils in the Reset Room and maintaining a calm, safe environment.
• Helping pupils reflect on their behaviour and identify strategies.
• Managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Supporting pupils to re-engage with lessons and learning.
• Liaising with teachers and pastoral staff and maintaining records.
