Job summary

Oasis Academy Wintringham in Grimsby is seeking exam invigilators to supervise examinations, ensure rules are followed, and maintain a calm, supportive environment for students.

You will prepare rooms, distribute and collect materials securely, brief students on procedures, monitor the exam conditions, and report incidents to the Examinations Officer. No prior experience required; full training provided; flexible hours across May–July and other assessment periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations, ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Prepare the examination room and distribute/collect exam materials securely.
• Educate students on procedures and provide reassurance where needed.
• Monitor the exam environment, ensuring JCQ and Academy regulations are observed.
• Respond professionally to student queries and report incidents promptly.
• Support the Examinations Officer and comply with reasonable requests to keep exams running smoothly.
