Job summary

Exam Invigilator role at E-ACT Parker Academy in Daventry. You will invigilate examinations in accordance with established procedures, ensuring a secure, confidential, and fair examination environment for all students.

The position is a casual contract with pay at SCP 4 level (£13.48 per hour). The role requires understanding of exam regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while supporting a positive examination atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Understanding of examination regulations, confidentiality requirements and the importance of maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures consistently.
• Experience of working with young people or within a school environment.
• Ability to remain calm, alert and professional under pressure while maintaining a positive examination environment.

Responsibilities

• To invigilate examinations following documented processes, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations are run in a secure, confidential and suitable environment.
• To ensure both students and the Academy comply with regulations. To ensure all students have a consistent experience of examinations.
• To report all suspected/actual breaches of Regulations and Malpractice to the Line Manager.
• To undertake the collection and checking of examination scripts and materials, ensuring all submitted scripts are accounted for.
