Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Orpington, Greater London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers in the classroom, helping to create a positive learning environment for students.

Job Duties:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans
  • Support individual students with their learning needs
  • Help to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
Required Qualifications:
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Additional qualifications in education or childcare are desirable
Experience:
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Experience in supporting learning activities
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
  • Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
  • Contract position with Full-Time hours
  • Salary of £85 - £100 Per day
