Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Calibration Technician for a full-time role in a specialist calibration environment. You will carry out multi-disciplinary instrument calibration to approved procedures, and work to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.

The role involves shift work (7am–3.30pm and 2pm–11pm) with a 22% premium during late shifts, and occasional travel to the Essex facility. UK driving licence and experience with calibration equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Calibration experience in a UKAS-accredited environment preferred, training can be provided.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Excel and Word skills are useful for reports and records.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-disciplinary instrument calibration to approved procedures.
• Work to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
• Produce technical reports and calibration certificates.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and processing calibration data.
• Set up and program reference equipment.
• Assess instrument faults and carry out component repairs.
• Carry out calibration work on client sites and liaise with customers.
• Support development of calibration methods and reference equipment.
• Ensure calibration equipment and reference standards are properly maintained.
• Occasional travel to Essex Test Facility.
