Job summary

Keysight is seeking a detail‑oriented Calibration Technician to ensure accuracy and reliability of high‑precision electronic instruments. You will calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment used in telecom, aerospace, defense, and high‑tech R&D environments.

Responsibilities include calibrating instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF test gear, recording results and uncertainties, and adhering to ISO 17025 and UKAS standards in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Technical education or apprenticeship in electronics, metrology, telecommunications, RF engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience in calibration laboratories, metrology environments, electronic repair, or test engineering roles.
  • Proven working experience within ISO 17025 and/or UKAS‑accredited calibration environments.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, test, and verify high‑precision electronic and RF instruments, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and related test equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, functional testing, adjustments, and corrective repairs on Keysight and third‑party instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot complex electronic, RF, and measurement issues using advanced diagnostic and calibration methodologies.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 17025 quality systems and UKAS accreditation requirements.
  • Accurately record calibration results, measurement uncertainty, and quality documentation in calibration management systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to understand technical requirements and deliver reliable, customer‑focused calibration services
