Are you leaving the military and keen to secure your next opportunity? My client is recruiting for a Calibration Technician to join their team at their site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, if you have a technical aptitude and experience of working with calibration equipment, this may be the role for you. The successful candidate will travel to customer sites to calibrate, repair and service a range of electrical and mechanical instrumentation, completing the calibration of allocated equipment within agreed parameters, recording and evaluating all essential data, for a wide range of industries across the UK and occasionally overseas. Calibration Technician Requirements:

  • Ideally hold an Engineering qualification – NVQ Level 2 as a minimum.
  • Must have a technical aptitude.
  • Experience and understanding of the calibration of equipment.
  • Experience report writing, strong communication skills and IT skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and working away from home to suit business needs.
  • Hold full driving licence.
Calibration Technician Benefits:
  • Salary £24,500 - £30,000
  • Monday to Friday – 40 hours.
  • Overtime payable.
  • Expenses covered.
  • 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
