Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global OrganizationAs a Calibration Technician here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for performing calibration and testing of various equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products.
You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you'll work onsite out of our Cambridge, ON location.
In this role you will impact the accuracy and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
Support the Production of high quality products for our customers. You will be working in the calibration lab to help support the plant calibration services. You will be responsible for the job duties of a calibration technician, which includes scheduling 3rd party calibration vendors and internal calibration. You will review supplier quality qualifications and ensure compliance to update quality information records (QIR's). You will participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.Key Responsibilities- Collect approved supplier quotes for services.
- Place purchase requisitions on SAP for these outside services.
- Use the calibration software to maintain timely calibrations and records.
- Perform calibration and verifications internally
- Audit compliance for AS9100, by adherence to site QMS documents
- Analyze and interpret data
- Ship and prepare equipment for outside calibration.
- Generate reports as required for the calibration lab.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Support the Honeywell Operating System
- Comply with all safety rules.
- Make corrections to the process
YOU MUST HAVE- College or University Diploma in a technical discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience with quality in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience with metrology equipment and calibration
