About the Role

Syntech are looking for a number of Calibration Technicians to join a large TIC services business (Test, Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.

Calibration Technician duties:

As a Calibration Technician, you will:

  • Calibrate a range of dimensional measuring instruments to national and in-house standards
  • Maintain calibration tools, gauges, and equipment
  • Ensure accurate documentation and calibration records are kept up to date
  • Work closely with senior engineers and learn industry best practices
  • Contribute to a high-quality, audit-ready calibration environment

Calibration Technician knowledge:

  • Some experience or academic background in dimensional calibration, metrology, or a related engineering field
  • A hands-on, practical mindset with a desire to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first attitude
  • Strong communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Exposure to a UKAS-accredited lab or ISO 17025 standards (a bonus, but not essential)
