An excellent Calibration Engineer opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing area within Rolls Royce Submarines. You will be working in a factory-based environment as a hands on Calibration Engineer. This Calibration Engineer role offers a diverse and varied day to day, spanning involvement across multi-disciplined areas supporting complex rigs and EC & I systems with technology old and new.

What you will be doing:
As a Calibration Engineer you will support a variety of customers and projects, to meet Customer Demands and our Strategic Objectives.
The role involves the responsibility for servicing, repair, calibration and routine maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment & instrumentation.
In the event of a machine breakdown, diagnose the fault and repair. Liaison and assist others as required.
You will needs to be competent with electrical standards and undertake the calibration of instrumentation on test rigs and bespoke trials equipment.
Electronic/electrical fault finding is a key part of the role and you must be able to follow circuit diagrams and apply fault finding techniques to identify the required solution.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK or in MoD approved cases a Dual from a non ITAR country.
