Job summary

Babcock International in Helensburgh is seeking a Calibration and Maintenance Manager to oversee calibration, maintenance and lifecycle management of specialist equipment. You will build a register, coordinate through-life plans and collaborate across Clyde and Devonport to support contract delivery.

The role requires proven experience in engineering maintenance, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with diverse stakeholders.

• Identifying end-of-life equipment risks and supporting future replacement and investment planning.
• Building effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and suppliers to support successful contract delivery and performance targets.
• Supporting business improvement initiatives, bid activities and opportunities for contract growth.

The Role

As a Calibration and Maintenance Manager, you'll lead and coordinate engineering support activities relating to the maintenance, calibration and lifecycle management of specialist support equipment. Working closely with teams across Clyde and Devonport, you'll help create and maintain a comprehensive equipment register, manage through-life maintenance plans, and support the development of new processes and systems.

What you’ll do:

• Managing and maintaining a comprehensive register of specialist support equipment, including calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinating equipment maintenance, calibration activities and through-life support requirements with internal teams and external suppliers.

What you’ll need:

• Experience working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and digital record management.
