Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service (You’ll help make every customer experience special).
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and safe food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a clean environment across the cafe.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to keep food fresh.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the cafe menu.
• Ensure standards are met and items are available.
• Know the cafe menu inside out and greet customers accordingly.
• Resolve customer complaints and pass on information to the Caf Manager.
• Stay updated with communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
