About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you're involved in cooking, engaging with customers, and making a positive impact. You'll ensure that every dish meets our menu standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you'll help keep the environment clean and tidy, from kitchen equipment to customer tables.

This lively role offers daily challenges and opportunities, including flexible working hours and potential for progression.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible and open to discussions about your availability, which we will schedule within your preferred windows. You will receive a 3-week notice of your shifts. For more details, click here.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, keeping records.
  • Practice FIFO stock rotation to ensure freshness.
  • Accept deliveries and store food safely.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
  • Maintain standards and ensure food availability.
  • Know the menu thoroughly and serve accurately.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inform the Café Manager.
  • Stay updated on business communications and initiatives.
  • Clear and sanitise tables to keep the café clean.
