About the role

Our café team members are the heart of our service, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. As a Team Member, your duties will include cooking, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the café.

This lively role offers flexible working hours, opportunities for progression, and a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours from 12. We aim to accommodate your availability, scheduling shifts within your preferred times with three weeks' notice.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, keeping daily records.
• Practice FIFO stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu.
• Ensure food availability and quality standards are met.
• Understand and serve the café menu accurately.
• Handle customer complaints and report to the Café Manager.
• Stay informed on business updates and initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables regularly.
