About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you'll be involved in cooking, chatting with customers, and making a positive impact. You'll ensure that every dish you prepare and serve meets our menu standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you'll help keep the environment clean and tidy, from kitchen equipment to customer tables.

This lively role offers daily challenges and exciting opportunities, including flexible working hours and potential for progression.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours weekly for new colleagues, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling around your availability, which we will accommodate within our operational needs. You must be 18 or over to apply.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers efficiently and courteously.
• Following food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining daily records.
• Practising FIFO stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
• Adhering to operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food as per our menu.
• Maintaining standards and ensuring food availability.
• Knowing our menu thoroughly and serving accordingly.
• Resolving customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
• Staying updated with business communications and initiatives.
• Cleaning and sanitising tables to keep the café clean.
