About the role

Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They're the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.

As a Team Member in our café, you'll be involved in cooking, chatting with customers, and making a positive impact. You'll ensure that every dish meets our menu standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you'll help keep the environment clean and tidy, from kitchen equipment to customer tables.

This lively role offers daily challenges, flexible working hours, opportunities for progression, and more. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. We will schedule your shifts within your available times and provide three weeks' notice.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations, keeping daily records.
• Practising FIFO stock rotation to ensure food freshness.
• Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
• Adhering to operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our menu.
• Maintaining standards and ensuring food availability.
• Knowing the menu inside out and serving food as intended.
• Handling customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
• Staying updated with business communications and initiatives.
• Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the café clean.

Requirements
