Freedom Leisure is seeking a Supervisor for their Café in Ashford. The individual will oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure outstanding guest experiences while maintaining health and safety standards. As a Supervisor in our Café you’ll be vital in the day to day operation of the catering department as well as managing and developing a passionate team, striving to deliver memorable guest experiences on a daily basis and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance.
On a normal day you’ll be supporting the operation, assisting with stock control, managing staffing rotas, as well as being the point of contact for your team for everything from their first day of training.
Due to the varied nature of the role, we’ll need you to use your knowledge to problem-solve effectively, implement best practice, and even create new ideas to drive the business forward and increase revenue within the department. You’ll also be involved in future events! To make these experiences truly unique, we will need you to have excellent leadership skills as well as an outstanding rapport with our guests.
Alongside your daily duties we’ll need you to maintain the highest standards of health and safety and you’ll have a working knowledge of safe working practices to ensure we are protecting our guests and ourselves at all times.
If you want to progress further, we will support this through additional training, both formal and on the job will be key. However, we also appreciate that not everyone wants to ‘move up the ladder’ and that’s absolutely fine with us. What is really important is that you are happy in your work.

Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (rota basis)
