Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Cafe Supervisor to help ensure smooth operations at a major High Street venue. The role involves supervising frontline teams, managing rotas, stock and weekly bookwork while maintaining high standards of food handling and safety.

You will be part of a large, supportive organisation that invests in its people and recognises employees who go beyond the plate. Expect 30 hours per week with shift patterns across 4 days.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries and store promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Be a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Produce weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Place orders for stock to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate where necessary and ensure the team are proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
