Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor for a Busy High Street brand in Milton Keynes on a full-time contract of 35 hours per week. You will oversee daily cafe operations, ensuring quality service and smooth shift handovers.

You’ll lead frontline teams, manage rotas, assist with stock control, and uphold food hygiene and health and safety standards. The role offers opportunities for progression in a company that values its people and rewards initiative.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.
