Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor for a major High Street brand, on a part-time basis contracted to 30 hours per week in Wales.

You will supervise frontline teams, ensure high standards of service, manage deliveries and rotas, and maintain stock levels while upholding Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and maintain a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service

• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
