Job summary

Chartwells Independent is hiring a Cafe Supervisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to help ensure smooth operations. You will oversee daily tasks, support a frontline team, and uphold quality standards in a busy high-street setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervision experience, strong communication and a customer-service mindset, and the ability to handle pressure with a positive attitude. Compass Group UK&I endorses growth and employee recognition across its venues.

• Checking and storing deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Acting as a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating tasks and ensuring proactive team performance.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
