Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Cafe Supervisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to help run operations efficiently. The role focuses on supervising a frontline team, maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring smooth daily tasks in a busy cafe setting.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a positive, team-focused attitude able to perform under pressure.

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and ability to stay positive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.
