Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

Role Overview

As a Cafe Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain high standards of quality work. In return, you will have the chance to progress your career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards employees who go beyond expectations.

Shift Patterns

Rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
  2. Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where team members feel welcomed and supported.
  3. Being a responsible key holder.
  4. Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
  5. Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
  6. Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
  7. Delegating tasks where necessary and ensuring the team is proactive.
  8. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
  9. Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
  • Good communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
