Job summary

Reed's School in Cobham, Surrey, is seeking a catering assistant to deliver a welcoming café service in a high-standard environment. You will prepare, present and serve food and beverages professionally, ensuring safe practices and strict allergen procedures are followed.

The role involves maintaining a clean café, completing records, and supporting the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional experience for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

• Monitor standards, identify issues promptly, and take appropriate action to maintain service quality.
• Support the wider catering team to help deliver an exceptional experience for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.

• Experience working independently and taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of a service environment.
• A commitment to maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen management standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling me to build positive relationships with parents, visitors, and colleagues.
• A reliable and proactive attitude with the flexibility to support wider catering and hospitality activities when required.
