CAFÉ STAFF MEMBER

Job Title: Café Staff Member (With Cooking Duties)

Reports to: Café Manager

Location: Based at Smyth Patterson, Lisburn.

Hours: 9 a.m to 4.30 pm daily, full or part-time will be considered.

Pay: Based on Experience

Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our café team. This role combines front-of-house service with back-of-house cooking responsibilities. You’ll be preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

· Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently.

· Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas.

· Handle payments and operate the till accurately.

· Maintain a clean and inviting front-of-house area.

2. Cooking Duties

· Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including breakfasts, soups, sandwiches and salads.

· Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

· Assist in menu development and daily specials.

· Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

3. General Duties

· Clean and sanitise kitchen and dining areas regularly.

· Restock supplies and ensure all areas are well-organized.

· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required Criteria
