Job summary

Morrisons Café team member role in our store will focus on delivering warm, friendly service to local customers. You’ll lead a small team, manage shifts, keep stock level high, and support training to help colleagues grow.

With a passion for hospitality and retail, you’ll drive standards, oversee daily operations, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied. This is a hands-on, store-floor role in our Morrisons café environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to train others.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive approach to running a welcoming, vibrant Café. You'll lead your team to deliver outstanding service, keep stock availability high, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.


• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.


• Drive performance and standards: Lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.


• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
