Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join us as a Manager in the Specialty Coffee Industry. You will oversee daily operations at our South Kensington coffee shop, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality standards, and a positive work environment. If you have a passion for specialty coffee, proven leadership skills, and industry experience, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all daily operations, including opening/closing, inventory, and team management.
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction through service, product quality, and issue resolution.
  3. Lead, train, and motivate a team of coffee enthusiasts, fostering collaboration.
  4. Implement strategies to meet sales targets, increase profitability, and grow the business.
  5. Manage stock levels and place orders to maintain supplies.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness.
  7. Maintain coffee quality and consistency, guiding the team accordingly.
Requirements
  • Experience in the specialty coffee industry or managerial roles.
  • Proficiency in espresso techniques, including grind adjustment and tamping.
  • Skill in creating latte art with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and team spirit.
  • Food handling certification and health & safety knowledge are a plus.
