Job summary

Tesco Cafs is looking for team members to join our Back of House role, supporting food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and consistent quality across our cafs. You’ll help ensure every dish meets our menu promises while maintaining a tidy kitchen and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafs
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside and out and serving food exactly as its intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf Manager.
• Staying up to date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
