Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Café Front of House Supervisor at Grafham Water, near Huntingdon. You will lead by example, supervise a café team, provide barista service and ensure smooth daily operations during busy periods.

The role welcomes both part-time and full-time applicants, offering a supportive environment focused on high-quality customer experiences, hygiene, and stock management.

Qualifications

• Strong previous barista, customer service and supervisory experience is essential.
• Strong leadership and team support skills.
• Excellent communication & organisational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
• Experience in a busy café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a keen barista and serve high quality beverages.
• Train, coach and motivate a team.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customers queries.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained.
• Manage workflow, bookings and orders during busy service periods.
• Handle cashing up, orders, and payment processing where required.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures are followed correctly.
• Stock management, ordering and rotation.
• Indoor play space supervision and bookings management.
• Assist in the preparation of food as required.

Leading by example, you will motivate, coach and support the café team to deliver exceptional service, maintain high operational standards and create a welcoming environment for every visitor. You will be a key presence during busy trading periods, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the café while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
