Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Café Manager with Mixologist experience to lead the opening of this new café concept focused on health & wellness within their retail store.

Main Duties
  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the café.
  2. Demonstrate innovative skills in creating new menu items that reflect changing trends and seasons.
  3. Show passion about Health and Wellness and inspire the café team.
  4. Hire and onboard new staff.
  5. Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of equipment within the café.
  6. Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as required.
  7. Maintain updated records of revenues and expenses (Set up of SOPs).
  8. Add new menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences (e.g., vegan coffee drinks).
  9. Advise staff on resolving client issues and delivering excellent customer service.
  10. Ensure all café areas are clean and tidy.
  11. Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and reputation.
  12. Support the Social Media Manager in engaging with customers through creative content, promoting our concept and new drinks.
About you
  • A hospitality professional passionate about health & wellness.
  • Trained Mixologist / Barista with café management experience in a premium environment, with a creative flair for developing new drinks.
  • Ability to oversee daily operations and implement Standards of Practice.
  • Confident and vibrant personality thriving in a busy service environment.
  • Dedicated to high standards of hospitality and guest experience, inspiring others.
  • Right to work in the UK, well-presented, positive, energetic, with a genuine love for hospitality and nutrition.
