Job summary

Bannatyne Health Club is seeking a Cafe Bar Assistant to join its team in Hitchin. You will greet guests, prepare beverages, and support cafe operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and working closely with colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
• L2 Food safety certificate is desirable.
• Strong customer service focus and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly attitude.
• Prepare and serve beverages and light snacks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the cafe bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.

A typical day in the life of a Cafe Bar Assistant:

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe bar area
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to
• Provide information about the club's services and facilities as needed
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere
