About the role
We are looking for a fabulous Café Assistant to work at our in our brand newstunning Otau Ridge Village in Clevedon. You will be providing exceptional service to our Residents and their friends, while also helping provide a great dining experience!

This is a permanent, part time position working 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Taking food and beverage orders from our residents, visitors and staff
  • Making amazing cups of coffee (semi-automatic machine)
  • Serving and collecting meals in our café
  • preparing and serving cabinet food and light meals
  • Operating the cash register
  • General cleaning including café equipment and washing up in the kitchen
  • Additional Kitchen duties as and when required

About you

You will have exceptional customer service skills, a vibrant and welcoming personality, enjoy giving service with a smile and you can effortlessly juggle several tasks at once.

Some things that will support your application include:

  • A warm and friendly nature and a 'Can do attitude'
  • Mature and reliable with exceptional communication skills
  • A good command of spoken and written English
  • A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (not essential) as well as and/or commercial kitchen experience
