Job summary

A renowned cafe company is seeking an experienced Cafe Assistant to join their team at the famous London Zoo. In this role, you will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a high standard of customer experience. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Assistant to join the team at the famous London Zoo.

We Offer:

Rate: £12.21 per hour (goes to £12.71 in April)

Shifts: 5 days per week (out of 7)

Contract: Temporary (Till April 15th 2026)/Part time/Full time, with the option to extended if required.

About the Cafe Assistant role:

• Taking orders, serving food and drinks
• Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard
• Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
• Cleaning tables and service areas.

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
