Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland, operating the Taste Café inside Sainsbury's Penzance Superstore, is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a friendly, fast-paced team. You will help serve customers, prepare food and drinks, and contribute to a welcoming café experience for shoppers from Penzance and the surrounding area.

You will work to high standards of cleanliness and food safety, handle till transactions, and assist the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude and enjoy helping customers.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to engage with shoppers.

• Remain calm and organized in a busy retail cafe setting.
• Reliable, punctual with good time management.
